Oh, no! My own blog has gone commercial!
But just look at those droopy little eyes, the heavy, furry paws.
This little guy is adorable.
Looking forward to seeing the L.L. Bean puppies is a Christmas tradition.
Do you suppose they have a cult following, or is it mass appeal?

Yes, we do want that puppy for Christmas.
He speaks a warm, woodsy, outdoors L.L. Bean Christmas to us.

Whew! Glad it's not just me.
ReplyDeleteI have also fallen in love with the L.L.Bean pups over the years. Your post is a good reminder of why I love all things puppy and older pups also :)
ReplyDeleteI love the Spurgeon quote on prayer. I have found prayer to be the best activity one can do in almost any circumstance. But he put it more beautifully!
ReplyDeleteAre you getting a puppy???
ReplyDeleteMike and Denise: So glad I'm not alone in this...
ReplyDeleteDimple: He has this unusual combination of clear, poetical phraseology and powerful conviction. Spurgeon's ideas will likely be popping up here alot, because I'm reading his works.
Nancy: Unfortunately, it's just a puppy dream. But a puppy dream is better than no puppy at all! (And, quite honestly, I don't dream often of puppies...not until the L.L. Bean catalog arrives.)
Wow, I have been receiving LL Bean catalogs for years and (should I confess this in public?) I never noticed that the special thing about the Christmas editions is the puppies! I guess between one year and the next I totally forgot what was on the previous year's cover. Now...if it had been kittens, I think I might have remembered (smile).
ReplyDeleteAnd from this day forward, I will always notice the sweet puppies!
